VMs are web based, visual, represenations of mathematics concepts. They are also called math applets, simulations, or java applets.

National Library of Virtual Manipulatives (NLVM)
This web site provides a free access to a number of VMs at K-12 level related to NCTM Standards. You can also register to the web site without any fee and design interactive online math lessons through using VMs for your students. Please click here for more information.

ExploreLearning Gizmos
This web site includes over 400 math and science simulations to improve students’ learning. You can sign up for a 30-day trial of the simulations and have full access to them. Please click here to sign up.

NCTM Illuminations Web Site
It has more than 100 math applets for pre K-12 level. The web site also provides a collection of 541 lessons for pre K-12 math educators. Please click here to have more information.

Maths Frame
It provides free access to a set of math applets related to counting, partitioning, and operations with whole numbers.
